doesn't anyone seem a bit skeptical about why guys in anime seem to be losers yet women fall all over them?

Maybe because its a fantasy? Could you really imagine a girl seeing a sweet sensitive side to someone who it outright perverted and geeky?

I've learned one thing about women, they like to go for the good lucking guys that will hurt/cheat on them so they can all sit around and talk abou what pigs men. Its what they live for.

but what do you mean by cutter??

Women should LOVE guys who are whiny and spend all their time feeling sorry for themselves instead of doing something to make themselves more attractive.

Because, you know, if the girls aren't flocking to you, it's obviously THEIR fault. Why should you have to cultivate good traits or try to be a decent person? You should just sit there on your ass and hot perky naked chicks should fall all over you just like in the anime!

Give me a guy who isn't a self-absorbed whiner any day. Geeky is fine, in fact I go for that, but as soon as you pull that "wahhhh girls don't like me so they suck" bullshit, forget it. Get over yourself.

(I know I'm not exactly the girl every guy wants, but I know I'm not the only woman who thinks like this. Food for thought.)

If that was aimed at me girls liking me isn't the problem.
I think it's mainly the 'want what you can't have' syndrome that guys also share but I'm not short of ppls liking me.

My comment mainly rant aimed at experience I've had with girls mainly my sister whining about guys when i know all to well the guys she's dating are complete arseholes they seem to go out of their way to find.

Your not a girl every guy wants? Come on, I love you.

I like the original question (though I *did* read all the replies), and I'm surprised anyone would prefer Tenchi. He's too weak. He *isn't* anything worth half the girls who flock around him. He's nice and all, but too much of a pushover half the time, not sexy (like some Jenova experiments we all know), and he acts like a dope.

Sephiroth on the other hand has depth. And keep in mind that he only became a cold ruthless killer when Jenova woke up and drove him insane - and even then the person out there slaughtering people was a clone of him. He was asleep in a big block green lifestream-ice-like material. Was he controlling the clone? Debatable, but either way Jenova was certainly controlling him (think of the mutations he took on in the final battle). I adore Sephiroth's character, and if I had to choose between him and Tenchi...no contest. I know how to not get on the bad side of a tempermental half-alien experimental specimen. And I can always think of him in his Soldier days - quite a different person than the one you fight in the game. ^_^
