I perospnaly perfer to watch subtitles ... i liek the way the japanese language sounds ... even though i can only pick out the odd word or two that every one knows, i still like it. Plus when you see things sub-titled you get the right words emphasized ... you should know hwat i mean ... i'd try to explain but it's 2:30 ... so yea ... what ever. Since i watch most of my anime onmy computer first, the english dubs jstu dopn't sound right, i get used to the characters japanese vice and anything else jsut sounds really weird and pisses me off.

personally i prefer subtitled because even though dubs are easier to listen to cause u don't have to worry about it being a different language u don't know, i usually miss sum part of the story cause i can focus so much more on the action, but when i watch a sub, i am forced to read what they say, so there is almost no way i can miss the story.
but either way, i'm just happy to watch sumtin when i get the chance so i will endure whatever is available
in the case of good dvds, i first watch dubbed to enjoy action, then i watch subbed to get entire story in case i missed it, plus i like to see what they changed during the translation
although it should be done the other way around, i should watch subbed first to get story and then enjoy the dub's action while already knowing the story.
