Well according to the anime series, neither Naru or Mitsume is the promised girl. I have yet to read the manga, Im not sure if I want to because I like the ending of the series where is shows Naru and Keitaro flying off together and not showing how far the relationship goes. Personally I think they will turn into another Seta and Haruka. As far as the promised girl goes, who cares he is in love with Naru and doesn't care about the promised girl anymore.

The Manga and Anime are two separate things. Kinda like making a movie from a popular novel...
Some things are left out due to time constraints.

Garylisk - Yes not just one girl.

Also, in the Love Hina Again three part short, Keitaro made a promise to another girl... You'll have to watch it as well to understand this one.

Man, there are a lot of promises being made in the series...

What's next??

Yes, I have seen that OVA, his "sister" makes an appearance. The OVAS are way too short, they was rushing and cramming all the stuff from the manga into 3 30 mins ovas. I just want to know what happens at the end! Manga are expensive to buy and hard to find at times...

i've seen the whole anime, the specials and the ova. i am also in the proccess of reading the mangas from tokyopop. i think it was mitsune who said it best when she said something about there being a lot of people in the circle of people which keitaro knows
