All three of them are 16, they may look like different ages but they are all the same age. The creators made sure that it wasn't that easy to spot the truth. If you want proof of their ages here is the link, just click on each character and look at their ages.

What do you mean by recognize? I dont see how any of them recognized each other at first. The only thing any of them had in common were there eyes. When all of them met they didn't have a clue who the other was. Karen could be the twin just as much as Mina. They made the series so that you cant tell which it could be, there are no signs of either being the twin.

I'm really lost as who is going to do what to whom... [heh heh] These "more than brother-sister" feelings is always prevalent in a lot of anime though it could be the case that there were triplets... [why not?]

That is basically my thought as well, the only thing I was trying to say above was that if it had to be one of them, I think it should be Karen.

Dude, they're toddlers in the photo (that alone makes me think against that theory), and the photo itself looks as though it was taken from a fair height (as in an adult eyeline, not that of a little kid). I guess that there's nothing there stopping it from being the 'third twin' (standing on a small ledge or whatever), but I really wouldn't be satisfied with that as an answer.

Plus, Maiku and Miina had better not be related the way they're going. The only random detail other than the 'omg incest no ><' that pushes it being Maiku/Mike and Karen is their foreign names to match their eyes. Such evidence doesn't really count for much at all, but hey, it's a hope to cling to =P.

With Karen having past experiences with Marie, I worry just how much the alien stuff is going to play into it all.

I dont know what you people think but I think that miina and maiku are good for each other, they are just a good couple, I dont want them to be relatives...

In the end I think Karen and Miina will both prove to be his sisters. Just because they only show two kids in a family snapshot doesnt necessarily mean that there wre only two kids. The 3rd could have been doing something else.

Although it is true that having the same eyes isn't enough to say they are related it must its also true that not too many people in Japan actually have blue eyes.
