Tonight Big-O moves to Adult Swim and I intend to watch and see if R. Dorothy and Angel are on that Street corner when Roger drives by at the beginning of the episode.

I was thinking that could have happend also. They were the only ones left when Angel fused together with Big O. It's like they are a part of her now and share some of her knowledge. Did you notice that Dorothy looked more human standing next to Angel at the end? Did you also noticed how Angel was blinking at the end but no on else was? She definately has the power to control the world. I think now she can live it up since she knows she isn't alone anymore and that people can help her with the responsibility.

I may be typing spoilers, but, then, if you've read this far into the thread, you're probably no longer concerned with that fact.
There is no reason for a third season, and, in fact, a third season would be pointless.
There is nothing left to be explained. There is plenty of meanings unstated and there are many unspoken messages, but the story is complete and the reaosns why things occurred in the way they did have all been explained.
Everything progresses directoy frmo beginning to end, and the messages expressed accelerate as the end of the second season approaches.
In order to truly understand, one must look into many histories and tales, including a good amount of Judeo-Christian mythology.
Everything which occurred was significant, even if it may appear to be made insignificant by the ending.
The entire world is a stage without an active director.
Forty years ago, Gordon Rosewater wrote the world into existence.
Angel now sits at the director's seat. She erased and rewrote what Alex has written, and Roger fulfilled his purpose by negotiating with Angel, the director.
No memories existed before 40 years ago because the world and people didn't exist more than 40 years ago.
That's not to say that no world existed more than 40 years ago - a world did exist, and many of the people currently alive existed in it, as well.
Before the world of 40 years ago, a different world might have existed. Before that another one yet might have existed. There is no way of knowing how many authors have sat in the director's chair to create or to recreate the world, and we have no way of knowing how the world came to be as it is. However, those details are wholly unimportant to this particular story. This story - this account of this existing world - has concluded, and the world has been rewritten.
Apologies if I have jumped tenses.

"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

they never really resolved the "fake world" thing did they, they might be able to make a 3rd season about how roger and Big-O break free from the shackles of Paradime city.
(think about the movie The Truman Show)

That would be contrary to the purpose of the show.Jim Hawkings21122 wrote:they never really resolved the "fake world" thing did they, they might be able to make a 3rd season about how roger and Big-O break free from the shackles of Paradime city.

The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I wasn't saying they should or even try its' just one of those things that could happen but probably won't.SSJVegita0609 wrote:What he said x 10.jbone wrote:That would be contrary to the purpose of the show.Jim Hawkings21122 wrote:they never really resolved the "fake world" thing did they, they might be able to make a 3rd season about how roger and Big-O break free from the shackles of Paradime city.

But it's not even within the realm of possibility. It would be wholly out of character - his purpose was to negotiate with the Director of his world, not to try to break free from the world.Jim Hawkings21122 wrote:I wasn't saying they should or even try its' just one of those things that could happen but probably won't.

Very true, BUt tink about all the other animes that went overboard in their 2nd or 3rd seasons (i.e. tenchi, supposedly outlaw star 2, the Eva movie, etc.) they all stray far from their counter parts and precursors.jbone wrote:But it's not even within the realm of possibility. I'm not talking about the purpose of the series, I'm saying that your suggested action would be out of character for Roger. There's a tremendous difference.Jim Hawkings21122 wrote:Very true, BUt tink about all the other animes that went overboard in their 2nd or 3rd seasons (i.e. tenchi, supposedly outlaw star 2, the Eva movie, etc.) they all stray far from their counter parts and precursors.
