Mhm, it shares a plot with the game. From what I've seen of it, it's got some good comedy and pretty neat plot etc.

Not an alltime classic, but pretty watchable.

The Gundam movie triolgy is a summary of the original TV series with slight alterations. It is most definately worth purchasing said trilogy as it is actually done very well. (The third movie is probally my favourite anime movie bar Grave of the Fireflies).

My personal favorite 5 shows are:
1) Vision of Escaflowne
2) Neon Genesis Evangelion (with End of Evangelion Movie)
3) Rurouni Kenshin (only Wandering Samurai and Kyoto Arcs) /w first OVA (Trust and betrayal)
4) Cowboy Bebop /w movie
5) This ones tough...either Berserk, His and Her Circumstance, Ah! My Goddess or Now and Then, Here and There. Depends on what you're in the mood for

yes i watch a LOT of other shows...but its just ... only describeable in one way... Azumanga Daioh > God...and the fact that kanon was once a hentai...game or something is disturbing sense it was changed into a no-nudity-at-all, serious at the end sad-as-hell anime...and one of the best sad anime's ive seen to date --;
