anime club at your school

There's no anime fan club at my highschool...though I know there are actually a decent number of anime fans. As much as I'd love to start one, I know the administration would never agree to it because they're a bunch of ignorant, favoritist bastards. There's a local university (FIU) that I've heard has a really big anime club...a pity I'm not interested in going there.

my school has an anime club...but i dislike it. Its just a bunch of people who like Inuyasha and Yugioh and think those are the best shows in the world

then when i ask them about a real show they are all like, WTF U DONT KNOW WHAT ANIME IS, THIS AZUMANGA DAIOH YOU SPEAK OF, ITS NOT ANIME ITS A CARTOON so im like

Are you kidding? I live in the dang bubble in UTAH!!! The only club around here is S.L.A.A.K.E.R.S. and they meet only once a month and watch movies at a college. And most of the time the guys in charge bring the worst fansubs in the world..

Try not to look down on animes just because they are popular and/or have idiotic fans, but yu gi oh wtf?

i didnt look down on them

i say real as in, NOT SHOWN EVER ON TV. thats my definition of real. i know a lot will eventually be shown that i consider good but i know about it now, before it is. so meh. but yeah i dont understand them, "YUGIOH IS TEH BAYIEST"

wow ... i guess i'm pretty lucky ... my club dosn't like playing stuff thats getting the shit whored out of it on TV ... ie Pokemon, yu-gi-oh, Cowboy bebop, Eva (just becasue every one knows aobu tthe last two) and so on.

As far as I know we don't have an "official" club but there is a certain corner of the cafeteria where games are played and anime is watched.
