Finally, something about Angelic Layer, I've just started watching the Subed versions, and I like it a lot. The english Dubbing isn't half bad, as opposed to shows like Inu Yasha *shudders at the dubs of that one*

It was my first time watching AL and I liked it a lot. The dubbing seemed all right...but then, I've seen some truly horrible dubbing in the past, so maybe I'm not the best judge. I showed it to my cousin (who isn't really an anime fan) and she thought it was cool, so I'm happy.
Angelic Layer is one of, if not my most favorite anime series. The story, the characters, the perfect blend of action and emotion/drama...really a great series. I consider it to be right up there with Read or Dream and Kiddy Grade. I always feel sorry for the people whose only real exposure to anime is the slop they show on Cartoon Network. I'm a big fan of Tenchi, DB/Z/GT, Trigun, etc as much as the next guy, but in my opinion those series just pale in comparison to some of the other anime out there.

True...but if you think about it, it's shows like that that serve to interest many people in anime. If it wasn't for shows like Trigun, Kenshin, Inuyasha, and Yu Yu Hakusho which I started watching on CN I wouldn't be the die-hard otaku I am now!!! I owe Anime Sensei I big time....
