in my opinion hands down its cowboy bebop. but theres lots of good ones and i havent watched eva yet and i hear its amazing

What, you think that kind of crap matters? If having a few of my all-time favorite character designs easily, beatiful scenery & monsters, aswel as the most tantilizing and pleasing to the sight animation ever to still retain so much of a down to earth, realistic-feel, quality, if that can't qualify as superb animation, I don't know of anything that is superbly animated.

Personally, small flaws don't concern me at all, I'm not a technical guy so I never notice things like that. That goes for music too, how can something that sounds good be incorrect? (Don't answer that, it's retorical) I do, however, notice the subtle use of animation in suggesting meanings, FYI.
