Many people are introduced to anime by shows that air on weekends or in the afternoons...my first anime (when I was a kid, before the obsession began) was Sailor Moon and I'm pretty proud of it!

And Inuyasha is NOT a bad anime at all...I think it's very good. I have friends who are huge Inuyasha fans, and they've been watching anime since Jr. High. So there.

Besides you need to start somewhere. I mean, I started off watching Sailor Moon *still do and love it* before I knew what anime was....then I moved on to others as well. I mean my anime collection jumps around everywhere, I dabble a little bit here and there. It's all a matter of personal opinion.

I agree with the dude that said to stop whatching weekday anime. Go rent some good stuff, not kid stuff. Like, Inu Yasha, it's not the goriest or anything but it is my favorite. Whatch the unedited version to, it's even better. Also, try Neon Genesis, Raxephon, Berserk, Noir. I would not recommend Akira. I may be weird, but i'm the only person that i know that must not of liked it. The story was all over the place and everyone says how good the drawing is, right.... The dudes forhead takes up 1/2 of his face. Well, thats my opinion. Anyway, more power to Inu Yasha

I have seen all of the episodes of Inuyasha that have aired on Cartoon Network and also seen all of those episodes fansubbed. I don't think (that as of yet) there is a single edit. There is a fanservice moment (ep 16, right after Miroku sees Kagomes "huge" assets... er... asset (the jewel you dirty minded leches ).) which might have been edited I'm not sure. Thats maybe one edit in 52 eps. I applaud CN for that.

the anime that I considered for new are sailor moon, DBZ, pokemon, and dYu-Gi-Oh. DBZ caused that introduced me to anime

on the otherside, those anime, if watched in japanese and unedited and all that stuff I wouldn't consider it a "newbie" anime since it's in it's orginal form.

(note to the "boy" (boy= Kagome=probably a girl) who probably hasnt seen Eva yet: Eva is a creation which only God himself could understand, there are tons of different takes on it, and one has never been settled appon, in conclusion, it was basicaly the first anime i had ever watched, and speaking from experience, it gave me the sudden urge to to one of 3 things:

1. Taking a steel bat to my computor for showing me this spawn of hell

2. Taking a 6 shot revolver to my head and painting the walls of the room

3. Taking a 6 shot revolver to the CREATORs head, and painting the walls of his room

4. All of the above

Oh yeah, Before I leave: Noone should put down any anime at all, especially akira or inuyasha. Yes, akira is confusing, and yes, inuyasha is a newbie anime, but that doesn't make them bad. all anime deserves equal attention.

Take Aeon Flux: Sure the charecters(Mi dont speel tu guud.) look disgusting, but it has some very insightful episodes.

I think thats mean to say cuz its not ur place to be telling her to not post anything untill her kind of taste in anime has changed plus its her choice to like those kind of animes not urs

Well anyways to answer the queston i think it would be COOL if Inuyasha came to the real world he be a realy good defence against peopl and also it would be COOL if you whent to the same school as him.
(Inuyasha is so god damn fine)
