DBZ Live Action movie: looks worse than a DBZ LP AMV

I would almost venture to guess that it is from the older, Japanese live action Dragonball movie. The skin tones are about right. Either that or it is a load of crap. But for the American entertainment giants to sink lower that the crappiest independent film would be unheard of, seeing as we spend way too much on entertainment in its entirety. Blah.

well, i have a few complaints about that picture:
1. Why is goku fighting an alligator???
2. Why would he use his power pole against it??
3. What's with the clothes?
4. His hair looks diiferent up (although, it coule be he is in water....)
Well, this honestly saddens me... also, i've found George Lucas is already working on the Super Saiyan hair.... wants it to look good, and not crappy.... i am figuring that should be good, and am surprised he's working on it at all this early.... but it's only small work as of now (has been working on energy attacks, and the powerups and such... his main concern is Kaio Ken as of now i think......)
I just hope that with the crew they are using, they could AT LEAST do better on the 2nd movie...

I have an imported version of Dragon Ball (not Z) from Japan on vhs, and this looks exactly like it. The only difference is the actor and scene. However, the photography shot is the style as the DB movie. The actor looks the same but I need to watch it again to make sure he is. I seriously doubt that this is an authintic (sp?) copy from a major production studios either U.S. or Asian. DB is a huge title to get (even though it may not be well known to out side anime fans) and there is no way the copywrite holders would give it to a small production studio that only a few people have heard of.
p.s. I hope I don't have to eat my own words on this, cause so far judging from that one pic it doesn't look like a movie worth watching. Unless your a hardcore asian classic film lover.

I have this movie on dvd. It was released here as "Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins" a few years ago.
The stupidity of it is what makes it hilarious. So many people can't even watch past the middle part when it's the best stuff in the whole movie

I don't know about any of the other's at this time... will try and find out more...
