Heh, no, I don't have cable either. ^_^; The only news I get about CN comes second-hand from a friend once or twice a month when she calls.

But I'd definitely recommend getting the dvds - at least for Kurama's fight. I have a suspicion it will be one of the most heavily edited to get rid of the bloodshed. Maybe the end of Yusuke's fight as well...

Sounds like you prefer the pointless cutsy and light comedy anime, if you like the first few episodes but not the latter arcs. In that case, maybe you should stick with Love Hina or Excell Saga and leave the dramatic action/drama anime to the ones who prefer that sort of thing. :?

That way you won't get bored when they start building the characters instead of cracking jokes. ^.~

Yes, I imagine the last few Tournament fights are going to be chopped up in typical-CN style...::grumbles:: stupid little kiddies...all scared of being "traumatized" damn them.

Spriggan was cool.

Anyway, I've only seen a few episodes of the show, but the ones involving fights were pretty well done. (Although that super dark beam of evil meanness that Hiei used just sorta came outta nowhere).)

Yu yu Hakusho is on 5:30 PM on Cartoonetwork on weekdays but not fridays. The DVD's are better. I have all of them in English and that way after the dark tournament which ended last year.Chapter Black is now on DVD.. It is the coolest.  8) 8) 8) 8)

i just started getting into Yu Yu (on cartoon network of course) when the Dark Tournament started. Intrestingly, alot of my characters in my manga are based off the fightter in the dark tournament.

but I havn't seen it that much anymore since I don't usually watch CN that much anymore. And I proably wouldn't buy the DVD's since I'm not ahuge Yu Yu fan.

Lol.

Did you ever wonder what would happen if he used his jagan without turning to his green (majin) form? As fast as he is, black flame is Hiei's main 'attack skill' - and the kokoryuuha (just think of it as his dragon) is his best skill. That's the main thing he uses from that moment on. And you might have seen it earlier, but there's a reason he couldn't use it until the tournament (you catch that when you learn more about his past and his jagan).

But yes, it came out of nowhere. I thought it was an excellent surprise. But even better the second time he uses it - the mastered version. ^.~

I'll tell you-
spoiler wrote:He did it because it was unexpected - his opponent wasn't thinking he'd go through his arm with the blade, so it was a way to get in an unexpected slice at the guy - but it didn't really do much good. Mostly it's just an excuse to show how suicidal he was at that point in the series. >.<
