I liked it.

Although (and I'm dreaming here given the way anime works) I think it would have been better to have more of a sibling, or even father daughter thing between the leads. Otherwise if you think about it too much its sort of uh.... you get the idea.

I liked the way that the secondary characters (can't remember the names) were fleshed out and used as a medium to explore the concepts of the series.

I've read the first few volumesand seen the first 9 episodes or so, and I love it!

I take it to my non-anime friend to show her Chi's outfits...she loves the clothes. And she thinks Sumomo is the cutest thing too. She wants a Sumomo now.

Too bad persocoms aren't real.

why do ppl spoil anime by putting in those fucking anoying eps that are just clips of past eps! i would understand if it was near the end of the series but ep 9! it not even half way though the series! now ya tell me theres 2 episodes like that whats the world of anime comming to! (/rant)

Okay, now you're just being cynical.

Not really, think about all the times when you see the hero outwitted by a hot witch in the woods that just happens to spend a bunch of time in lingerie. Then, when she turns *bad* she gets all ugly and the hero snaps out of his daze long enough to chop her up.

Do you think Chii would have gotten the same reactions if, while having he same basic program she looked like Sumomo?

Cynical? Or realistic? C'mon, explain to me how an anime focused on an attractive female robot whose emotions are molded by her dorky, loser-type master's actions is not wish-fulfillment.
