Naruto....the next DBZ??

Naruto = delinquent Ninja trains at a ninja school and fights pplz.
DBZ = over flashy, all fighting anime with very little story and plot ((strongest thing in the universe comes, Gohan or GoKu beat it up, The next one stronger than that comes, beats it up again, etc etc etc))

It's been fansubbed up to episode 67, I believe. It'll be a LONG time until an American company gets the license for this series since it's horribly popular.

Yup, i heard it from here too and it was already in its second season. U better hurry up and catch up, im still lagging behind, im on episode 5 ... gotta catch up ...

with the DB series'. Original DB = 152, DBZ = 282((ish)), DBGT = 62 ((ish))

Watch them all to get the full story

haha i know how u feel, however i did watch it all. Naruto though i stopped as i got past Rock Lee V Gaara, got boring fast

I seem to remember about a year or two ago, Yu Yu Hakusho was predicted to become the next DBZ. There are probably a lot of shows that *could* become the next DBZ. I don't think the possibility Naruto catching up is that big a deal. Come get me when it matches/surpasses DBZ.

On DBZ stuff, after Baby is killed in DBGT, I gave up, it was getting too ridiculous. Gotenks was pretty fun in the Buu saga, but otherwise I didn't like DBZ much past the Cell Games. Heck, for the entire Cell saga, I liked three things:
- Gohan
- Vegeta
- Lots of explosions

Most of the rest was pretty boring.

I said that Naruto is a great anime, but we can't compare DBZ with Naruto in the animation and special effects department, since DBZ was realeased in the late 1980's, and Naruto is brand new. I can't say anything about story, since I havn't finished seeing them.
