Voltron, yes. Speed Racer, I think that was from the 50's, unless you're talking about the version they played on Nickelodeon, that was the 80's version. I haven't really seen a lot of 80's anime, because there is just too much anime out there. The 80's titles I have seen are Akira, Ronin Warriors, Dirty Pair (the first two movies), Saint Seiya (thanks for ANOTHER crappy dub, DiC) and Armored Trooper Votoms. I need to finish Votoms sometime soon, never got to seen the final story arc, past the arc's first episode anyway. The Hitokiri Battousai wrote:whats was Speed Racer and Voltron....I liked those

You know, there's an uncut dubbed version ADV worked on. It's actually more tolerable.DTJB wrote:Voltron, yes. G-Force or Battle of the Planets, take your pick, they're the same thing. Neat show though. I think G-Force would be early 80s, if not 70s maybe. Anyone have a date? The Hitokiri Battousai wrote:eh, I remember a thing called G-Force
Then Robotech of course. Robotech version or original Macross I like either one. Prefer the original Southern Cross to the Robotech version. I never liked the Mospeada saga as much as the first two parts of Robotech...haven't seen the original uncut Japanese version yet, so can't compare.
Urusei Yatsura. Mou...everyone seems to forget about it anymore. It's like, my favorite of all anime. Especially Lum.
One last thing. Is Mysterious Cities of Gold considered anime? It was done as a joint thing with Japanese and French studios from what I know, but opinion seems divided on whether it qualifies as anime or not.
