Another "Dub vs. Sub" post!? :x :?

At this point, my preference is for both sides in the debate to go to Antarctica and get a close-up view of Second Impact.

I do the same thing, i get the feeling for the anime first in dubbed, then i finish it off with some japanese. I guess just to get the feeling right ... ;)

people who are going on about how this thread has been done before: shut up and leave this thread alone there's no point in posting if you're just gonna say that.

I watch subs much more often than English dubs, I'm a quick reader and also I understand a little (enough just about understand :P) Japanese to know whats going on anyway.

Hey miryoku-teki, just for future reference, before you post a new topic, look to see if one like it is still up (and relatively new, preferably) so it won't get too confusing as to which topic to post on. Just a coutesy-type thing to other members.I wouldn't have siad anything but there's already the exact same topic up right now that isn't that old. You're pretty new so I'm not going to gripe you out or anything, but just so you know.

I think it's more enjoyable to watch any animation in your native language. If I spoke Japanese fluently (or at all..) I might prefer to watch an anime in Japanese, but since I don't know the language, I prefer English dubs the first time through an anime.

i think it depends on the type of anime. You see, I can easily watch Hellsing in Japanese cause the voice actors are alot better then the English voice actors but Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star to me are alot more fun to watch dubbed cause they are great dubbed.

Hellsing and Slayers are a billion times better in the dub than in the sub. Oh wait I say fuck this whole topic.

Something like goldenboy or shinesman where the dub is actually more entertaining than the subbed version. And those are the only 2 anime I can think of off the top of my head where I would prefer the dub.

If you count the anime that I watch raw, then probly only about 90% of what I watch is subbed. And no, I don't understand it.
