Don't get me wrong I'm not insulting Sailor moon. All I have seen of it is that movie. I hope its not representitive of the series.

It's not. Actually thus far The Promise of the Rose is my least favourite movie of the three. It's slow, but I'll see if that changes once I nab the uncut versions.

The love hina english dub made me want to throw shoes at my TV, and the X/1999 Movie english dub made me leave the room lest I risk destroying my room in a fit of rage inspired by bad translation and godawful voice actors. Oh, the Sub-japanese dub isnt much better. Apparently "Sumeragi" is "Kimeragi", and all of the following words mean "NO!!!" : Yamero, obasan, ch ( a formless sound kamui makes when kotori dies ) and theres one I've forgotton.

But it sucked.

I must question my humanity then.
I saw that at my first A-Kon (two years ago) when someone who I was sharing a room with bought that and everyone watched it (yes, it was weird, but then again everyone was laughing at how silly it was)

Just the whole aspect of how she has to get "charged up" before she can use magic. Oh, and that old bastard who pops in and cheers her on as she is being "taken advantage of".

Yeah, sick and stupid funny(funny as in haha that's so strange/stupid its laughable, i.e. MST3K fodder) in one package. I NEVER want to see it again.

Warning to all, stay away. FAR AWAY.

Hmmm...no anime has ever made me want to throw up, but the Evangelion dub was horrible.

Hmmm...yeah can't think of anything else. I'm actually quite tolerant.

The entire dub of Sailor Moon is pure evil, not because of the voices (though some of them were horrible), but because of how much it was changed and edited. The dub bears very little resemblance to the original Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon. Dic, and later TWI (I think) ruined a very good anime. If you find and get the original, uncut and subbed, it's great, but otherwise, don't bother.

I wouldn't say it's pure evil (it's still watchable) but damn near close!
