Who cares?? :?:

Get to know the person at the store and you won't have to worry about peeling off stickers.

When I worked at a video store, my supervisor was playing Hentai. The one were monster invade and they have multiple *parts* and rape women. This was, however, before the store opened. (side rant) why not play it during open hours, it isn't porn right?

I get tired of people wanting to say hentai and the mangas like it, aren't porn.

Okay, the world's smallest violin is playing JUST for you. Didn't anyone tell you that you can't always get what you want? Spoiled children... Until I got a better job recently I had to walk uphill through the snow - I mean, save up to buy everything I got. You know, months, to buy one DVD. Enough whining. If you want it badly enough, save up and for the love of god STOP WHINING.

As for where to buy or rent anime:

- Netflix. You sign up, you rent by mail, you send them back. I have heard many good things about this.
- Amazon, where I happen to buy 90% of my anime, because I am lazy and like buying junk at 2 o'clock in the morning.
- Rightstuf has both a website (dot com) and a print catalog, to order things by mail.

Anyone in the States can take advantage of those, even if they live where anime isn't available at every mom-n-pop podunk video store.

And while I'm bitching a blue streak, all o'ya should be grateful that anime is as mainstream as it is now. Before our time people couldn't get this stuff in any normal store, ever. It was fuzzy fansubs or nothing. So there. :P
Hey,

In my day if we complained about people complaining we were given the gullitine...

...okay, not really, but really Sarah. Don't you find the fact that almost everytime someone complains about something, you, yourself have to complain about them complaining, rather.....I dunno, hypocrytical.

Wow.. My video store is happy, and if they don't have it, the other one down the street probably will.. So I'm a lucky monkey. Except, of course, my mom and dad do all of the renting, so I don't actually get to SEE anything that's on the shelves...

Way to oversimplify everything. Spoiled-brat here whines and blames a fugging video store clerk, who is just doing their job, enforcing MPAA laws they didn't make and dealing with the stock Corporate sends them, and bitches that wahhhhhhhh they aren't old enough to watch the grownup moooooviiiiiiiessss! - that's just stupid. Sorry. I am merely pointing out their stupidity. Not seeing the hypocrisy there. (btw, if you wish to be taken seriously, plz learn to spell kthx.)

As for whining that they can't get the anime they want, I - and many others here - pointed out a million ways they CAN get the anime they want. Solving the problem, instead of uselessly bitching about it.

Seeing the difference yet? Should I make up some flashcards for ya?

Know what's funny involving anime and the video store? The time me and a friend saw a Robotech video at blockbuster that said "Just for kids" on the box. Know what they did? Put a youth restricted viewing sticker on the box.

I'm just glad to have a local anime store. Avoids all these nasty issues, and they do rentals. Did I mention all the workers know me on sight?
