Don't know about that one.agelesslorg wrote:why is the manga so confusing
He could be described as a foil for Naota. Kamon obviously takes care of Naota and sees that he gets a decent upbringing, but at the same time, he's hardly ever serious about anything and acts like a kid a fair deal. Naota can't stand the fact that he's surrounded by adults who don't act their age, and tries to act as mature and grown-up as he can.agelesslorg wrote:and what is the point of naotas dad?

Hmmm. Furi Kuri, is a strange anime. It's just insane. Basically, it's about this kid who gets run over by a guitar toting alien chic's vespa. After she makes sure he isn't dead, she hits him in the head with her guitar. And robots start coming out of his head (not all at once, usually one at a time over semi-long periods of time). I can't really say too much more, because I would totally spoil the plot (it's only six episodes long).RiderX wrote:ive never heard or seen hide nor hair of fooly cooly...... whats it about?
*announcer voice* watch in on AS (for those of you who have cable/satelite) on Saturday nights.
Buying the dvds are a pain in the ass though. I know that they're the director's cut but you'd think there would be more than just 2 episodes per disc.

If by "director's cut" you mean "the complete (and only) version, which is what was/is shown on Cartoon Network except for a censored word or two and a little expanded mosaic-ing in one scene", then yes.someperson wrote:Buying the dvds are a pain in the ass though. And I wish to point out that the Japanese release was ONE episode per DVD.

Recommended, especially the movie posters and interviews. Those people really know their Photoshop.
Even though I don't entirely agree with their portrayal of Kaoru (= as cool and eloquent as ever, but... well... read through to the very end of the interview to see what I'm talking about).

Behind all the insanity and confusion of Furi Kuri. There is an extremly good story about adolesents, growing up and the feelings and complexitly of it.Scintilla wrote:Don't know about that one.agelesslorg wrote:why is the manga so confusing
