Take Excel Saga, and a whole bunch of crack, and make it not nearly as friendly for TV. And Voila!! You've created Puni Puni Poemi. (which is where I got my avatar from;)

And incase any of you happened to miss out on the naming jokes in Excel Saga....

Excel,Hyatt, & Il palazzo are all named after hotels.

Menchi is minced beef (or pork).

Nabeshin is a spin on the anime director's name:

Nabe + shin = ...well you get it. Now if I can just figure out where the hell they came up with Space Butler...

I already knew all of that. In fact, I believe they mention the hotel thingy alot in the series.

IF you haven't already done it, I suggest you go watch the whole series again with the ADV-vid notes on, you'd be surprised all the things you can miss in the span of 30 seconds oO....

Not to mention, watching the ending credits....heh....the last half always has some new gag added in.

I watched Excel, too!
When I first watched it, I was like what kind of anime is this?
It's way beyond normal, stupid and crazy.. and yet other ppl than us watch this?
"this world is corrupted"... LOLS!

It's good that I understand Jap. cuz Dvd has both in it and I like the voice in Japanese rather than the English one. don't you guys think?
I mean.. EXCEL's voice is too.. squeeky!
