Dude Ranma 1/2 is a cool anime ^^.

Anime can be used as singular or plural

Wasn't it Japanimation?
Japan + Animation = Japanimation

Then wasn't it shortened to Japanime
Japan + Animation - tion = Japanima / e = Japanime

Later on.. Anime
Japanime - Jap = Anime

Just some random non-mathematical math on the root of Anime.
In my opinion, that's just how I saw it over the years...
Soon, we will shorten it to just "TV".

I like the description at Dictionary.com:

Anime
A style of animation developed in Japan, characterized by stylized colorful art, futuristic settings, violence, and sex.
hmmm, they failed to mention that unlike anything on western tv, anime is actualy thought provoking and chalenges people, instead of show's where people dealing with murder everyday seem calm and cool about solving crimes, and for some reason thoughs people are allways right.

I think It can have an "s" sometimes.

For Example:
There are many animes that I want to see.

It wouldn't make as much sense as:
There are many anime that I want to see.

It just sounds wrong. At least it does to me. But, whatever. I don't think it will be a deciding factor to determine the state of your soul. I'm so lonely.
I hate myself

By the way, what's the plural of Moose?

Or penis, for that matter?
