yea.... movie screwed with a lot of things... but it was pretty :D

as for the final victor... in a way they didn't change it, Kamui of the Heavens wins in both occasions, they just changed which body died, but either way the humans live... the parasites always win MUAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAA!!!...i'm done now

but you can't really get mad at the ending, they decided to make the movie when they were in the middle of making the series, so by the time they finished the series, the movie was already out with it's own ending, different, but the same
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!

X is, in and of itself, a pretty screwed up anime. The movie, series, and manga all have different endings, I've been told. I've only seen the series, but not all of it. I like what I've seen, though. I don't care to see the movie because most people I know who've checked it out didn't like it much. Maybe I'll rent it one day or something. But then, I'm a fan of all things CLAMP, so I'm ready to overlook any faults within X.

I agree with ryuu_hyme 13, the series, manga, and movies all have different endings, but I guess they're kinda cool though.

I agree with Bebi's first post, didn't read all of it, but he's on the same wavelength...

Though truth told I bought the movie before I got into the series, I still liked it, more from an artistic standpoint I guess.

But my favourite dies in the first four minutes

I'm almost done collecting the TV series (2 more volumes to go :P ), but the manga is definetely better. Heck, there's quite of bit of comedic moments in there (especially from Sorata).

I'm guessing you're talking about either Sumeragi Subaru, or the Sakurazukamori Sakurazuka Seishirou. Both of them are uber cool, and gay as well, did you know?

Let us cry for cool characters they axe in the first 5 minutes.

Heh, if you watch Tokyo Babylon first, without knowing there's an X series, then the movie sequel seems to suck quite a bit in those first 5 minutes. ^_^;; I would have been more than a little angry if they hadn't continued that trend with all the other characters as well. That's when I caught on that they weren't just going after the characters I liked.

Then again, I felt the same way when I bought Sorcerer Hunters and they knocked my favorite character out first. I was ready to demand a refund of my money. ;p

The first time I watched the movie, I thought it was only ok. The second time through, though, I highly enjoyed it. Later on, I've watched the series and it's a lot better than the movie.
