what does youre parents or friends think of watching anime?

one time my dad caught me watching DBZ and tearing up a bit cause it the ep where freiza kills krillian and goku goes super sayian, and he beat for what seemed like an hour, it didnt hurt though cause hes a pussy, but then took my TV away, sold my car, and grounded me for a month. My mom was crying while she watched him hit me, but later she slapped me too and said I deserved it. What a dumb whore. I swore to them though I wasnt a faggot, why wont they beleive me. Im so moving out next year when I turn 21.

My dad doesn't care that I watch anime actually he's the guy I go to if I want to buy DVDs online (don't have a credit card). My mom likes to watch my anime with me but I think she would go crazy if she saw FLCL.

rofl,lol. thats some funny stuff, you got beat for watching dbz, what would have happen if thay caught you watching sailormoon.... your 20 so how old is your dad 50? not to be insulting, but that does not seem real, did you make up that story?

The only anime my mum watched and enjoyed was DBZ. she even reminded to tape it when she was at work. it was the only time we werent all ripping our throats out.

my friends like anime so theres no big news there.

My mom and dad kinda like anime,but my dad likes it more. My dad likes Rurouni Kenshin and my mom likes Vampire Hunter D and Princess Mononoke. For some reason my mom says that everything else is stupid because it doesn't have a "story".

All anime has a story of some kind (except maybe FLCL, but if it does can someone please explain it to me?) In FLCL all I see is a crazy girl who whacks people over the head with her guitar and shoots people with a machine gun.

my mom will sit and watch it with my brother and I. she watched Puni Puni Poemi with us .. o boy was that a bad idea ... i think she's scarred. ( I dont blame her ) as for my dad, he dont really say much about it

my mom doesn't really like it, and doesn't really care either. She torchered me with soap operas while I torchered her with the Simpsons for many years, so I figured I won't hog the tv with anime when she's around.
