I would suggest that if you buy either of the movies, Poltergeist Report(Movie 2) is much better than the one packaged with the Ninku Movie.But i would personally suggest starting from the beggining of the series.Anime Castle has the first season boxset(7 DVDs) for only $80. It may be just me but that seems like a pretty good deal.

The longer movie is excellent if you've seen the anime, but it's mostly fanservice - prettier animation, background for Kurama's history (what you don't learn in the anime), an extra 'attack' or twist for Hiei's powers, and one of the only 'group' fight scenes in the entire anime. The music is pretty good, too. ^.^ But I wouldn't watch the dub. What's the point of getting the dvd if you're not going to listen to the original voice cast? They're the ones singing the soundtrack, and at least Kurama's theme song alone is worth watching it for those who dislike reading (subtitles).

Otherwise - Hiei is my favorite YYH character, Kurama's second.

DeepDiscount has it for $57. A somewhat better deal.

Well poltergiest report wasn't wonderful but i was comparing it to the other movie,which makes it heavenly by comparison.

And regarding the Toguro Brothers,

Hiei and Kurama have always tied as my fave characters. Of course, Yusuke's great too.

Toguro Bros - Ick

Hiei, Kurama, Yusuke, Jin = Love

I didn't really care for the dub. But Yusuke's voice was great, and Jin's accent rocked. I was obessed with this anime for the longest time! I'm a little bored with the series, but I still love the characters.
