hehe i saw the whole rurouni kenshin series except for the meji arc cuz it sucked and from what i'm told is nothing like the manga...so i've gotta find the manga...and i've seem the ova...samurai x greatness
i like the characters:
kenshin , sano, aoshi, serjio hiko, karou and yahkio they are aweome and kenshin.sano, aoshi, serijo = drool and major swoonage heheh
I agree!
As far as Sano goes, I like him because he gets defeted a lot, but always manages to get back up in the end. He may not be the strongest fighter, but he has a lot of pride. Although a little more rough around the edges, he too is like Kenshin, for he protects the people close to him and he very caring too. He's loyal to his friends. Plus, despite Kenshin beating him he became his friend and backed down after listening to what Kenshin had said. He doesn't let his ego get in the way.

I read a few scanlations before Rurouni Kenshin premeired on CN. I liked them, but then my outlook on Kenshin was tainted by the dubs. The first 1/3 of Kenshin was mostly filler, so I got bored with it.
The second third seemed to drag a bit (granted, it was more entertaining than the first 1/3). I'm waiting to see if the last part of Kenshin is any good.
Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, I didn't enjoy that much. For the most part, I found the characters to be a bit unfeeling. They seemed to be on the emotionless side (overall, not through out the whole series). The story and the action were great but the characters just didn't seem right to me.
Reflection was good, in my book. No complaining here. But for the most part, Rurouni Kenshin (as a whole) seems to be a bit overrated, in my opinion

Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, DBZ references...tell me something AndroidFanGirl, have you actually seen ANY anime series that HAVEN'T been ported over to Cartoon Network?
And uh, I might be wrong on this, but you seem a lil uh...trollish. That's not to say you are for certain, hell you could really be an 11 year old, cartoon network watching fangirl...either way though I find you...interesting.

Not really, I always found him to be kind of annoying...and his clothes kinda suck as well.android21 wrote: Thanks, me Age, 14 And i have seen many an anime that wasent on cartoon network. they were on DVD. Any fans of that kid that hangs with kenshin? (i not know his name.
Rurouni Kenshin isn't exactly my favorite series, the OVAs were alright, the series was...well long...and...yeah it was long. *shrugs*
For some odd reason I really like Yu Yu Hakusho, I think because it's the best dub job I've ever seen.
Recently I've watched Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins, the first of which was really good (even the dubbing was excellent), however the second was kinda...eh, s'okay. I liked Onegai Teacher because it's the first anime series I've seen that's been true to life as far as portraying relationships in highschool (ie quite a few high school kids have sex by the time they're 16).
Onegai Twins was okay (but only after watching the OVA), mostly it was just disapointing.
The other thing I didn't like about Onegai Twins was how it kind of twisted a lot of the known characters personalities around (other than maybe Mizuho). I did like Kei's new look, bout time that boi got himself a decent haircut.spoilers wrote: Personally, and this probably will sound perverted, but I was sorta thinking (mostly by all the screen captures I had seen) that they might all end up not being related (or just the two girls being related) and sorta having a three way type of love relationship. Which, yes, some people might have some throwing a fit problems with, however for some people, in some situations, a three way relationship is ideal (provided every person in the relationship truly feels love for all the others).
Don't get me wrong, the series wasn't like terrible or anything, it's just that it doesn't even come close to living up to it's predecessor. I'm wondering if the new series Onegai Friends will be any better.
