new anime vs old cartoons

but old CARTOONS includes this (linked b/c it's not my site - less bandwidth stealing)

...which is better than some new anime.

Really, it depends on the show. I mean I like some old cartoons but both old and new can suck equally badly, it's just the new stuff would look prettier.

...However, there was an era of American cartoons which I've only seen mediocre stuff from (Super Friends, I'm thinking of you).

Exo Squad and Gargoyles are teh pwnage. Whether they're old or new is a matter of relativity, but they're American.
