It might be a dual translation since Wanderer and samurai are so often attributed to eachother.

Yeah hes got it pretty head on.

Just some things that bothered me about kenshin

First off the only way to be a samurai is if you were born one. Kenshin was never a samurai. He was an excellant swordsman, but never a samurai.

To add to that a Ronin is what a wandering samurai would be properly called.

You do understand that in japan Rurouni kenshin just means Samurai Kenshin 0o...

I mean, the X isn't really that american (if so then you'd have to say X/1999 sucked) so 0o I don't really see your point.

While i'm all for not changing the names of animes, because for 1 the american covers look gay, and 2 japanese lettering looks cool and "l33t".

I don't get off where you say "Samurai X" sounds american.

i thought X : TV was good X/1999 the movie was kind of retarded

Is the art "better," or is it just preferable because you're more used to it? I mean, I like the series art better too, but the OAVs are prettier, although the animation feels off.
