heh i didnt think u would enjoy it. it seems like ur more into the romance anime. ill bet angelx also wouldnt enjoy it. yea hellsing is definitly not for people who are into romance anime or faint at heart.

Ok, the Hellsing anime is good, but I would highly recommend getting the Hellsing manga.

It has everything, comedy (lots of that), ultraviolence action (we gots lotsa that), and even a little romance (not till far in the series though).

Vols. 1-6 are available now.

new chapters are serialized monthly in Young King Ours

the last chapter of vol. 6 is Soldier of Fortune 3, which was printed in the Oct. 03 issue of YKO.


For all those who can only speak english, here's the english adaptation from Darkhorse.
Vol. 4 should be released in English in September.

i was wounder if it was worth getting.

To me it is; a great anime even though the character development lacks to some.
Obviously the manga will have more depth than the anime version.

can you tell me some of the good points of hellsing without spoiling the ending?

No, but liking it depends on what kind of anime you want.

Then again so many people watching/buying it couldn't be wrong...

I liked the series. It wasn't my favorite, but I really liked it. The only think that pissed me off was that the end left off with to many questions that only the manga will probably answer. Other than that it is a really powerful anime, and its one of my brother's ablsoute favorite animes of all time!

I thought that hellsing was damn awesome anime, and i do like romance animes as well, well at least them with a bit of action as mecha, or even good ol' violence with blood and gore and guts.
