"Just telling you now" All anime series/movies that are made by or from china/japan >>>all anime start out as as real movies. Its obvious. I have seen DBZ/Evangellion/tri-gun/ect. in real life movies , so just warning you that it has already been done! :o

Um, sorry?

Gee, and I was thinking I owned the original manga that started Trigun - guess I was wrong, and there's a live-action movie I'm entirely unaware of. And it appears the Eva movie has been released rather early now, too...

Furthermore, it appears I've been misinformed about what's considered anime, and have missed out on all those Chinese anime titles, along with potential anime from Korea, Thailand and Trinidad.

On a more serious note, I wonder if the continued trend of anime-inspired productions from other countries (be it the US or China or Korea) will continue, and maybe even improve (quantity and quality-wise) in the near future...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

:? Now I'm sorry but I just have to laugh and it's not with you AMV_Fan001. Maybe people will misinterpret what you said, people like me. Because I believe you meant that live action movies about the anime occur before the anime and are the base for them.
Hope maybe you meant that the idea of the anime came before like Trigun-cowboy, DBZ-extraterrestrials, and ECT. If not then I'm not wasting time on your vacuous statement.
In the future please refrain from ruining good threads like this one, well at least trying to.

Just to let you know that the Dragon Ball movie you are refering to was made 1993 according to http://www.badmovies.org/movies/dragonball/ and the anime Dragon Ball was made in the 80's. So it would seem that the live action movie was based off the anime and not the other way around. According to my time research anyway. :D

Back on topic...
As long as the writers continue to produce a few interesting plots and cool characters, and the art looks sorta decent, then it's all good. Change is a good thing and all that crap.

As for live-action, well, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we? They can do some pretty cool special effects with technology these days.

Also, rip-offs are inevitable. It's the nature of human beings to look at something incredible and go. "Hey! I shoulda thought of that! I know, I'll make something just like it, only better!" Of course, it never is. Or almost never. Try not to let it get to you.
