Didn't they put in a candy cane or something instead? :roll:

I'm sure the jury's still out on whether cavities are worse than lung cancer :roll:

Are you serious about that? I knew editors cut out scenes to avoid things like cigarettes, but to redraw them...?

I guess that means I'll never see the day when Saiyuki plays on public tv - half the main guys are constant chainsmokers, so they'd have to redraw nearly every scene, not to mention cutting out all the shots of the boxes, lighters, and ashtrays.

/stumbles off imagining Sanzo lighting a lollipop on fire...

Well, in fairness it is Foxbox. I mean, I'm sure if they played it on something like Adult Swim or something, they wouldn't bother. They didn't cut out Spike smoking in Cowboy Bebop, did they?

I've seen the anime so dont do much spoilers, and I think its dumb that there putting a lollipop instead of a cigerette :evil:.
