IT'S OFFICIAL CLAMP FANS!
A Tsubasa movie? Are they really going for the crossovers here?Anime News Network wrote:Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Anime (2004-11-20 13:30:30)
According to an announcement in the latest Shonen Weekly Magazine, a new anime based on CLAMP's Tsubasa is currently being planned. This confirms information released by Del Rey earlier this month. However Del Rey refers to the new anime as a TV series due in 2005, and Shonen Weekly says the new anime will be "in theatres" in 2005. Thanks to Tricianna for the scan.

Ok, this is absolutely, positively official (I think)!
Someone said in the Anime News Network forums that this series is 26 episodes long, and it'll be animated by Bee Train (also known for the .hack// series, Noir, and Madlax).AnimeNation wrote:Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle TV Anime Announced

Bee Train, eh? I'm now looking forward to it even more. They've become one of my favorite animation studios. I really liked the animation style of Noir and .hack//SIGN, and seeing CLAMP renderings in that style is going to be interesting.angelx03 wrote:Ok, this is absolutely, positively official (I think)!

It seems NHK will be carrying it, which is the same station that broadcast Card Captor Sakura. And if I read the Shonen Magazine site correctly (I really need to learn kanji better), it'll start broadcasting in April.
No word, apparently, on staff or cast yet, though. I wonder if we'll find out before the first episode is broadcast.
