Tsubasa and XXXholic cross over into each other. It's like two mangas in one but different books, to give different points of views.

From what I heard in the ANN forums, there's been rumors that Tsubasa Reservoir MIGHT be animated by BONES. It's not concrete though so don't take my word on it.

IT'S OFFICIAL CLAMP FANS! :D
Anime News Network wrote:Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Anime (2004-11-20 13:30:30)
According to an announcement in the latest Shonen Weekly Magazine, a new anime based on CLAMP's Tsubasa is currently being planned. This confirms information released by Del Rey earlier this month. However Del Rey refers to the new anime as a TV series due in 2005, and Shonen Weekly says the new anime will be "in theatres" in 2005. Thanks to Tricianna for the scan.
A Tsubasa movie? Are they really going for the crossovers here?

On a somewhat unrelated note, I find it funny in volume 2 of Tsubasa that Shogo Asagi is in there. If you don't know who he is, check out the X/1999 movie. :D

Japan's Shonen Weekly Magazine has officially announced that CLAMP's Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle will be adapted into an anime TV series next year. The new anime will air on NHK stations beginning in April.

Someone said in the Anime News Network forums that this series is 26 episodes long, and it'll be animated by Bee Train (also known for the .hack// series, Noir, and Madlax).

Bee Train, eh? I'm now looking forward to it even more. They've become one of my favorite animation studios. I really liked the animation style of Noir and .hack//SIGN, and seeing CLAMP renderings in that style is going to be interesting.

It seems NHK will be carrying it, which is the same station that broadcast Card Captor Sakura. And if I read the Shonen Magazine site correctly (I really need to learn kanji better), it'll start broadcasting in April.

No word, apparently, on staff or cast yet, though. I wonder if we'll find out before the first episode is broadcast.
