Hmm. I thought the tv series had 8 volumes. But perhaps I'm wrong (a good flame and swift kick in a designated part of the body would suffice as a punishment for my stupidity).

Sorry, shoulda specified - I live in Australia, and the australian release is 6 DVDs. And it sucks too. If I had the money I'd import the boxset from the U.S.

Is there even a real point to this? These "List your collection" threads pop up every so often, and it's, like, one guy posts his collection, then more guys do, then some guy posts his HUGE collection, and then 5 or 6 people post something like "OMG THATS A LOT!!!!1" etc...

I think the last count was somewhere in the $12k or so area as far as cost goes. It's kinda hard going by dvd count since I have a lot of box sets and what not. I've never bothered with manga count. Probably nearing or surpassed $13,000 by now. It's amazing how much you collect over 10 years.

100% correct. I think it's a "let's judge penis size" type thing. People like to show off what they have. Personally I kinda get depressed cause I realize how much I could have spent on a new car or maybe even that spiffy drug habit I've been waiting for.
