no more like 33 episodes
lol so true.

Anyway, I think the problem with dbz is that its your average afternoon tv soap opera trying to be an action serios with a story. An if you think that its got the best story of any anime, then you OBVIOSLY havent seen alot of anime.

dbgt was closer to db than to dbz, imo, which is why it wasnt that great. :?

dbz 4 life, though.

DB: Good.
DBZ: Great.
BDGT: Crap at its best.

Reasons to "hate":
Some people just hate mainstream and DBZ is just that.
Some people just don't like the older anime like DB, for whatever reasons.
Some people don't like pieces of crap like DBGT is.

Of all three DBGT is the one I don't like at all.

Where did all these DBZ fans pop up from?

To start off, I hate DBZ!
I'm not one of those idiots who watched 3 eps and gave up, I'm one of those people that know Goku's last name and can argue for hours that Goku did not die in the lava while fighting against Frieza.

If your a really really really good anime fan, you will realize very quick that nearly everything about DBZ SUCKED!! "Especially their plot....... watch some real anime people!!"...............oh yeah, Dragonball was alright though, should have stopped there instead of threatning to kill Akira Toriyama to make more episodes by force!!

Dragonball is actually a good, funny series.

Dragoball Z is silly because it's so over the top and because its narrative could not deal with the problem of "Strong-Opponent Inflation."
Koji Aihara and Kentaro Takekuma wrote:In order to develop the story, the artist must create one enemy after another, each stronger than the last. If the final enemy practices some deadly form of martial arts, that's manageable, but often things get so out of control that by the end of the series the hero has to face a 200-foot-tall monster or some incomprehensible thing, like "The Cosmic Evil Force."
Having multi-episode fights and people being revived muliple times also does not help DBZ.

Dragonball GT is simply a case of beating a dead horse.

hell, i know you don't need your intellect stroked to watch tv, i prefer not most of the time. and i don't hate DB/Z, it's just not the best of animes, but it still has it's place.

GT though...i can't say much without breaking into foul language...

however, i think a large part of why people on the .org make fun of it so much is because there are sooooo many vids done to it, most of which are done by n00bs who don't know what they're doing. Of course there are the exceptions, but they are few and far between.

Ok , now let me ask something for all you guys who says that the repetitivity of DB it's a problem.
How many movies/animes have a story with a bad guy who fights against a good guy and in the end the good guy wins then you see a happy ending ?

At some point of view , the story of DB series it is repetitive , but I've watched the full series always wondering HOW they'll beat the new enemy. I liked it the ways that the enemies are defeated in that anime.

I'm fan of the full series , and Z it's the best IMO too.
