At this point I would just be happy to have an/any Anime channel - then maybe after it runs for awhile some competition may want to jump in and offer more options. I only have Adult Swim to look forward to :( and that HAS NOT been doing it for me lately (massive amount of sarcasm there). That is one reason why I DO NOT watch TV.
"Light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing. Visible forms are not inherent in the world but are granted by the act of seeing. Events contain no meaning in themselves only the meaning that the mind imposes on them...yet the world endures,...whether or not the mind exists..."

Anyone know what sony's has to offer? because so far this looks like its just a onesided article that doesn't know what Sony has. I say that If Sony can push through a larger umbrella of titles (not just one or two outside of their own company like the AN. ) then I say Sony should get it. but If its going to be the same deal. (the whole, my anime is better than your anime) then i would prefer ADV since the only title i've picked up from them that I didn't enjoy was neo-ranga. I shold have known better though. :(

Here's two links I found about animax:

http://www.agencyfaqs.com/news/stories/ ... /9392.html

http://www.animax-asia.com/info/press-release.pdf

The first makes it sound like the US version may be another cartoon network, but if they bring it over like it is described for Asia audience it would kick butt.
