Favourite char: guess :)

As for the manga, I collect the 2nd editions and found out how fast or way off the timeline it goes from the anime version but still quite interesting and had some new stuff involved. I can't say about the first editions since i didn't bother getting them :(

Ranma 1/2 is cute enough, but i think it drags on entirely too long, with very little character development or growth. The cast is HUGE, which isn't a bad thing, but it would be nice to see some changes once in a while. How a large group of gender-bending, shape-shifting people can run amok in a town for so many years, and not have any OR very little plot movement can get old after a while. And i feel like after watching the main "couple" for so many years, (along with several of the other psuedo couples), fans deserved more of a concrete ending.

Takahashi's art is pretty stylistic and cute, and i also always appreciated how the anime followed the manga practically frame by frame. I think as the anime progressed over the years it became much more fanservicey/stylistic than Rumiko had intended (omg the Nihao movie...how much BOUNCE can you fit IN AN HOUR?!?! Akane was NEVER built like that)

I have a soft spot for Ryoga and Mousse, and Shampoo is cute, but my fave characters are the standby Akane and Ranma.

Well it is something called growth.
It is a beautiful process which happends when your body starts to pass a series of changes that are natural on males and females. Parts of your body start to grow and hair starts to come out on places... that was not coming out.

JAJAJAJA (it is just a joke)
Plus they wanted to give Ranma and Akane a more mature look. They seemed too young to get married. Plus all the fanservice they can get.
Trying is the first step towards FAILER!!! <awayoflife>

Growth my ass. it was fanservice all the way.In none of the subsequent episodes, did akane have that much going on, and Rumiko never drew her that way EVER. But ahhh well...thats what 80% of the anime out there now is about LOL

Yep. And then it got out of control and they created Eiken.

I have seen the end of the ranma anime series and it sucked personally they left too many things hangin and the could have done better but i want to see the end of the manga because I am sure its alot better then the anime ending

And the movies rocked
I hate you Earthlings! As soon as you see someone different you say, "look! It's an alien here to destroy the human race and sell the planet for..." Oh, I see your point.Said By Vegeta Quote From Dragon Ball Z
