Hey, I have the manga version, and it wiil not help you at all, it has it's own plot so you'll be stuck trying to understand two (only slightly) similar stories.

But the manga is great and does an awesome job of retelling the FLCL story, and my opinion is that the sketchy art is very apropriate and well done.

FLCL is the best that happenned to me. LOL. My favorite one of course. I love every minute of it and I get to understand a lot of things, but of course not all of them. I got to learn a lot about myself 'cause I had similarities with some characters. I see the plot as something symbolic but in the other hand is a very Cruel one.

Oh BTW, I've watched it like 10 times already and I never get bored.

Isn't it stated somewhere on or in the second volume that it's the last? (Not like they could really continue it anyway with the way that volume ends, IIRC...)

Been a while since I read it. I just quickly reviewed the last two pages and it does say the end so I guess it is over.

yeah ive heard something about a second edditon thingy going around. ive got the flcl soundtracks and theres dramas in them...ive got no clue what they r saying as its all in japanese but *shrugs* o well i listen to the whole thing*laughs* that would be awsome if a second part came out maybe it would sort of maybe if possible in ne way explain what all of it was about
but if it doesnt o well its still GREAT ANIME
