Well it will be nice to see some more new stuff on CN. Haven't been watching it of late. But with S-cry-ed and Samurai Champloo i might just have to start watching again. though i don't have to see s-cry-ed again.

They showed Escaflowne on FOX, but it was severely edited and only 23 episodes long, the series is actually 26 episodes

Adult Swim was doing a good job picking up anime, but I don't know about S-Cry-Ed and the Escaflowne movie. I didn't think S-Cry-Ed was a good show and I've never seen the Escaflowne movie, but from what I've heard it's a darker, condenced, slightly different version of the TV show and I didn't enjoy the TV show. Oh well I'll still watch them, but after what pick ups Adult Swim has gotten these seem like a notch lower.
See you space cowboy...
Miroku is a king among amine characters
Aliens, are you a peaceful race.
While hell yes, we are barbequing aren't we not.

I haven't seen S-Cry-Ed, but I have seen the Esca movie, and I like it better than the series. It's not just a little different, it's very different.

Of the 3 major versions of Escaflowne (Movie, Show, Manga), the biggest thing they have in common is the mecha design and names. And even then, not all of the things that get explored are really all that similar in design and actual flow. Of the two animated versions, I prefer the movie, though of all 3, I like the shounen manga better than the other two put together. But that may just be because it was the first manga I read o.O
