I just finished episode 15. I guess I can see where it's starting to get somewhat of a plot...

Yeah, I was hoping they'd go somewhere with that, and I guess you've confirmed it.
Download an episode somewhere between 25 and 28 and watch the new intro... That'll confirm anything you may or may not be thinking without spoiling TOO horribly.. Just a bit spoilery ;)

I'm about to watch episode 12. There's no story at the part I'm at yet, but the show somehow got even hotter!! I hope you guys are right in what your saying. Whatever story this show will have better be a good ass one!! Could go beyond Full Metal Alchy? Probably not. Get to the same level.......seems like it could.

I'm up to episode 28 now. I like it, but I'm a little disappointed in the story. I was hoping it'd be more than

(the spoiler is really rather minor and non-specific, but just in case...)

But I like the characters, and some of them haven't seen much action yet, so I'm really looking forward to watching them kick ass.
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

The story is not the deepest thing ever, but the characters are what keeps you watching. All the characters are just unbelievably cool!

Characters are cool huh? So are the characters in DBZ, and that show's ass!! At least Bleach is emotional, and the show isn't even over so who knows how much better it will get.

I watch and read the manga. And I gatta say, after reading the latest mangas, I REALLY want to see it in ACTION. Imagine this, just by reading and looking at pictures (it was in full color, btw), you are thinking: WOW. Now, imagine how cool it would be if it was in full action. Now, I dont wanna spoil too much, so ill stop it right there.

That is part of the reason why I was like WOW. You'll see what I mean, you'll see.
Oh, and personally, Id say the new introduction was really good, one of my favorites. (especially the whole ending of it, where you see the cat splitting the sword into 2, and you see all of the captains)

Full Metal Alchemist > Bleach.

The first season was pretty good, and had some nice standalone eps. It let you watch and enjoy, but the second batch seems like one 'to be continued' after another. You want something to happen eventually. I think that the animators started watching Naruto and figured: "Hell, they can have one fight scene take twelve episodes! We should do the same thing."

On the whole, the show is pretty good, worth watching, just make sure you can catch several eps at a time.

You say that like it's a bad thing... Oh no, an ongoing story! What ever shall we do! Everything should be able to be solved in 2 or 3 episodes tops! Yeah right. I live for huge stories. If you like Episodic anime, more power to ya, but I'd rather have things be continuous.

So far, Bleach has had a few good moments, but I find I'm a little disappointed with plot/character development. Ichigo hasn't appeared to change much since the first episode (he just seems like a typical "tough guy").

But I'm still giving it a chance - I have about 5 episodes that I haven't watched yet.
