It may be dated, but some episodes still give me that tingly feeling. Then again, some episodes have a full 8 minutes of "Close up of everyones face while they gasp and all the pencil lines on their face twitch back and forth!" Never understood that.

Also they had the Legacy of Goku GBA series. I've got #2 and its alright. once you've been somewhere once you can go back whenever you want; with a pretty cool world map.GloryQuestor wrote: - The first Budokai still remains the best interpretation of the story (and just how good the chain of events has been), and features some very well done new story branches (the bonus Cell story just has to been seen to be believed).
- The second Budokai, while having the rather odd Dragon World boardgame, still took the game up from the pure CG look to a wonderful Cel-Shaded look that really makes the fighting engine look just like it came out of the TV show.
- The third Budokai offers the Dragon Universe single-player game, which is by far the most freeform and fun modes out there for exploring the entire story, from the beginning to after the Buu Saga.
- DBZ Sagas isn't the best one, but it does present much more of the story than the other (with original anime clips from the show included), although it only covers from the beginning to the Cell Saga like the first Budokai.

I don't follow it nearly as I used to. Once I realized he powers up episode after episode I kind of got bored. I still think it had some really great episodes and the entertainment value is high.
It is old but it will always have a place in my collection.

I just wanted to post in responce to that picture.... Goku sure gets a kick ass hair-do, no? I mean, no one really has such looooong and choppy hair like him. oO; It's as though being a great Saiyan means that you also must have a terrific do.

Of course it's aged, but not old; DBZ will never die!
On the other hand DBGT was dead when it was in the womb of its creators' evil minds...
What's really old is Pokémon. That zombie won't die. I was so into it that we have the first three movies; then after that I was like WTF? so we quit following it.
DBZ rocks mah hamhocks...

DBZ's an interesting show to talk about.
Up until the end of the Cell Saga, it was really good; in fact the Cell Saga was when it was at its peak. Frankly, it should have stopped there, as Toriyama wanted it to. Gokuu is dead, Gohan is God, - which had been hinted at from the very beginning of the series - Krillin actually has a chance with a girl, and it looks like Vegeta might actually decide to be a good guy, a parent, and give up already. Basically, all was right with the world. In that respect, if you divide DBZ into two parts, the Saiya-jin through Cell sagas, it's a classic; aside from the thirteen-week long fight with Friiza, DBZ was an interesting, and fairly logical in terms of bosses, series, and definitely set the standard for fighting-genre animes after it. It's an incredible Sci-Fi anime, but not so great a fantasy.
DBZ's alure is interesting, too. In all honesty, it's pro-wrestling with fancier moves and bigger explosions - and a storyline.
Frankly, if anyone ever goes back and remakes DBZ, pray that they do the right thing and stop at the death of Cell. That'll go down in the annals of Anime history as one of the best sagas ever created, and definitely one that kept you watching.

Seriosly? I mean, seriosly? If you spike your hair its not meant to be half a meter long and its supose to be hard as a rock instead of waving around. And with hair that thick, the guy should at least get an under-cut.Tainted_Eden wrote:I just wanted to post in responce to that picture.... Goku sure gets a kick ass hair-do, no?
