Sin, dirty, the same reason in the old days menstrating women weren't allowed to enter the church, or step foot on church grounds. If it's hot enough, it evaporates any liquid touching it, like dipping a heated rod in water - for a short time period, it remains hot enough to boil the water, leave it in long enough, and it cools. Since his scythe isn't metal but actual heated *energy* it doesn't 'cool' the way a metal blade would. It's a matter of having the energy to keep the 'beam' hotter than the cooling properties of the water. So long as he uses it in short bursts (or has an insane amount of power backing it - it is a gundam, after all), he can use it under water. Think of laser surgery cutting through flesh - it has to 'beam' right through the blood (liquid, actually denser than water so it's harder to evaporate) - if we can do it, I'm sure an advanced technology like a gundam can. The reason the others were shocked is because of the power required to do that - Gundams rule all, especially Death Scythe.

I would like to know that in Fruits Basket if a member of the Zodic transform then they transform back they are comoplete naked. Why is that when Kyo transforms back he doesn't instantly transform into his true original form
