I haven't seen it myself, but from what I've seen it looks amazing, and my friends whom have seen it agree...

Grave of the Fireflies

Arguably one of the best animated motion pictures of all time, and definitely one of the most moving movies you'll ever watch in general...

Two anime movies I highly recommend to you are Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. As far as animes go, well, I'd say Wolf's Rain is pretty good.

BERSERK
ESCAFLOWNE (I am reading the manga right now and that is pretty good, but so far I still feel the series is better and the movie sucked!)
Arc the Lad (The game triology for playstation was better than the series but the series was still really good.)

These are most of the good mideval fantasy animes I have. I think you'll like them!
