Most 100+ epp series have more fillers than story epps.

i agree 26 is pretty good, or even 13 like hellsing with the new oav's coming out for it.
if it has a good ending and lots of action i really do not mind if it is kinda short

True... 26-30 is on average the amount of episodes each series has.
DN Angel is a good example.

I feel it matters...why? InuYasha is a prime example. I thought it started out great and would end up being something awesome...and what ended up happening? But yeah, 26 is usually a perfect amount, some series require more, some require less but use more anyway, and some could use more but don't, which can also be a problem (primary example here: Angel Sanctuary).
