One dub that I did find preferable to the original was Princess Mononoke, but that's the only time. But most Ghibli dubs are done very well becaue they have a much larger budget to work with and Disney actually seems to care about keeping it as accurate as possible.
Oddly enough, I'd rather hear a character get a new name that the actors could prounounce than listen through them struggle everytime they gargle out the character's real name. Also in the changes they tend to look any of the honorifics which is good because I get so sick of the dubs where everyone's always refering to eachother as Miss and Mr. ><trinigal wrote:I just hate when dubs change the names of the characters(4kids entertainment crap).
