Well for me it was when I saw this one anime with a tank in it. I watched it with my oldest brother and absolutely loved it. If someone coudl tell me what it was I would be eternally gratefull. The only thing I can remember is it's in a city and there's a huge battle going on. Just then this tank with four wheels with a carriage propped up bust through a wall. The tank has suspension and such. I saw it years ago. It's not dominion tank police I already checked. But it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Since then I've always loved anime. If someone could tell me that anime I will be forever in your debt.

It has a tank with the others not having any. And it's a four wheeled affroad tyope tank that's small.

As far as I can remember, I've always been a fan of animation. The reason I got into anime so much was because the writing and the plots for most anime were more developed than most of the stuff I watched before I became a fan. That, and because there is always something for everyone, because there are so many genres used in anime.

When I was about 9 or 10, I started watching Sailor Moon on TV, not sure how I found out about it, but as I watched the show, I was automatically hooked on it. That was my very first anime show that I ever liked before I got into anime, so I have been an anime fan for over 10 years now, I am currently 19.

I think what caught me stright up was the animation, it simply blew away anything North America has produced save Disney and Dreamworks alone. But unlike Disney and Dreamworks, anime actually can have serious story lines and great animation at the same time. I like the 26 episode series length because you can actually really get into characters unlike disney features. Anime does the impossible while not looking quite as hokey as over the top CG in american movies as well. Also note I only refer to hand animation, I think the computer generated stuff coming out of the united states these days is of remarkable quality and scope.

Me, I started watching Cartoon Network, and noticed that the anime shows actually had a point to them, unlike most other shows on that channel. I've been watching them ever since, and my addiction is growing.

Pokemon. Truly sad of me, but that's how it all started. After that I got interested in the Toonami shows and started moving up. I learned about the magic of subtitles a bit over a year ago. Wait..no I just realized something...
The first anime-styled anything I ever watched was My Neighbor Totoro. I love that movie.

Because animated porno gets me going...

That and anime does the things that normal animation doesn't do. It incites controversy and allows things that normally aren't allowed...
