Easy - Elfen lied - it doesn't even have to have nudity or exagerated violence - the story is that good and easily adaptable.

Anime: Record of Lodoss War: Chronicals of the Heroic Knight
Title: Lodoss War (Just to shorten it up)
Probably spanning a few movies
Why: What with all the buzz LOTR and now Narnia are spewing, Lodoss War could easily get in there. I've yet to see the OVA, but from what I heard, COTHK is pretty much the OVA plus some. A live action PArn fighting a CG Shooting Star? It's like a midieval Reign of Fire, except not crap!

Name: Get Backers Movie
Length: two hours
THis woudn't be the whole move, just for the retrieval of the package in question from episodes 3-5. Those episodes alone could make a stand alone movie, plus they wouldn't need to cut out anything good. Also, I think Genji and Akibane could possibly be really really cool looking with real people and special effects.

Series: Gunsmith Cats
Length: 3-5 major length movies.

Should be a close adaptation of the manga series. Doesn't need to copy the series scene for scene when introducing the characters in the first movie, but should follow everything exactly once it gets into the first Goldie saga.

There are a couple of good reasons why this would make a good movie. Has all of the guy elements; chicks, guns, chicks with guns, bombs, car chases and who wouldn't want to see Bean Bandit kick so much ass? It also has a great sense of drama and emotion, especially once it gets into the Kidnapped saga. As to why Paramount or Warner Bros. hasn't jumped onto this idea yet is beyond me.
