RahXephon vs Evangelion

Personally, I never had a problem with believing the characterization in RahXephon... especially interesting, I've found, is to observe the actions and attitudes of Makoto, Itsuki, and Helena to any situation they're in in the first half or so of the series after having seen it once through, because it's the type of thing you would never think anything of the first time you saw it, but after you've seen the whole thing and you know their backstory, it just makes perfect sense.

i caught so much more the second time through. i remember the first time i got lost. and it also seemed much more obvious that harika and reika were the same person. i didnt catch it untill the end last time.( i probably misspelled the names.)

I haven't seen the RahXephon but I have seen Evangelion. Will Evangelion does have a good plot, the characters make me so depressed and annoyed I feel like killing myself to end the misery on one end.

The animation is nice for it's time and the development of characters are ok. but like I said before, it just seems like all three kids need to get laid or something along those lines.

Evangelion for me. The atmosphere was darkened and it's pretty fast pace but not so much so as the plot line skips around and everything. I really just couldn't get into RahXephon even though the animation was very stunning in the series.

You're kidding me. I've never seen rahxephon but I can tell you that Evangelion is the better of the two.

based on what? how can you say which is better if you never watched RahXephon? you're kidding right.
