Anime in the News

I watched this one anime film in my honers history class in high school about the bombing of hiroshima and it was freaky I will never forget that. It was really creepy but cool at the same time becuase it was anime. Any of you play video games with anime in them?

I think he was talking about Barefoot Gen. Barefoot Gen takes place during and shortly after Hiroshima. Grave of the Fireflies, though beautiful, takes place during the Firebombing of Tokyo several months before.

Haha, yeah that was my first anime too. I think I was somewhere around the range of 7-8 years old, and I was mortified at some parts of it. I initially thought it'd be good since it was a cartoon (damn I was stupid), but yeah...I didn't like what I saw.
