However, "why are we here" and "what is reality" are not concepts invented by NGE, or by MGS, or by anime at all.

There are these things, called books, with words in them. Pick up a couple sometime; you might like them.

Im trying to see if kajima used a little story from eva in his game.

My point was that neither of them are ripping off one another, because the idea was out there in the world already. They're just incorporating similar themes into their work. One is not based on the other just because they are similar.

It's like the difference between parents and siblings. The two both borrowed from the same concepts, so they are more like siblings than one being created from the other.

But I think I'm fighting a losing battle here trying to explain that the world was not created by anime.

Books. With words in them. sigh.

I know the world was not created by anime.

Im just curoius how the simularities near the end of each. Not to mention kajima lives in japan also. And Im pretty sure is an anime fan.

Yes Raiden Had A Relationship With Rose But EVERYTHING The "Fake Rose" Says Via Codec Isn't True, Assuming That Whoever Programed The "Fake Rose" Knew A Hell Of A Lot About Their Relationship Already...

When The Real Rose Turns Up (Admittedly In The Ending) She Just (In My Oppinion) Seems To Know Everything Thats Already Happened Anyway...

Then Just Throw In The Revelation That The Philosophers Are All Dead And The Entire Game Is A WTF Fest - Ocelots View Of The SSS Program Was So Much Easier To Believe

You gonna have to play through the game a couple of times to understand WTF is going on.
Now what I picked it that the whole game was just a test to see if radien a rookie could perferm as well as solid snake under certain situations.
Mow MGS4 should pick up that storyline. It will be the last MGS game though.

Joe 88, Sorry But Thats What Ocelot Believes And Its Not True, The SSS program is inniciated by the patriot to see how far they can control and manipulate people into beliving things - Raiden was indeed the test subject being thrown into the reconstruction of the shadow moses incident and because he believe he was rescuing the president etc (which he actually did do because he was physically there) and fighting dead cell it was a sucess, the only flaws in the SSS were the two outside factors, Fatman not going along with his "script" by attempting to blow the big shell sky high and the real solid snake being present (the fake cambell at some point says to raiden that pliskin cannot be trusted because he isn't a factor in the situation)
