Waitwaitwait...
Bill Plympton?
As in, 'The Tune' Bill Plympton?
Doing manga-style?

...well, that already's not adding up to me

Then again, I hear Kanye's name with connection to a manga and I remember the last time we made the mistake of letting a singer make a manga...
I could be wrong, but unless I'm convinced otherwise, I'm officially going to take my seat now to watch this crash.

Yeah. I'm just curious of what he's gonna come up with. I bet that at least 70% of the sales of the manga are gonna be from curiousity, 5% is going to be from people who just don't know anything about manga, and another 25% are gonna be people who get it just for the shear fact that it was written by "Kanye West" (and they know nothing about manga either).. > >

I can vouch for that!! I practically fell out when I heard Lupe in "Touch the Sky" make a reference to Lupin III!

Prepare for another "Boondocks". A less politically-aware "Boondocks" but "Boondocks" nonetheless.
I like 'em. This will help put anime and manga into the mainstream, which may or may not be a good thing.

May not be that great, now that I think about it...

Man that sounds awesome. My fave rapper, making a manga. He could make big bucks offa that. And it could make more people get into the anime/manga world.

It'll be called a comic book, because manga can only be made by asians.

Nah, because the manga series PeachFuzz (sp?) Is made by an American named Lindsay Chibos, whoo lives in Florida. And Tokyopop calls it an manga series. ITs really cute. As long as the book follows the manga guidelines...its manga. Also manga is Japanese for comic, so all manga is really just Japanese comics.
