I think the two best quality Animes are Fruits Basket and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Fruits Basket is pretty much a girl anime. It has the best characters that you fall in love with. It has a great story. Every character has a sad history. Theres plenty of funny parts, a bit of drama, a tiny bit of romance, a few fight scenes and a bundle of tear jerking moments.

It's about a 16 year old girl who mom died so she gets invited to live with the Sohma boys (very hot Sohma boys). And it just rockets from there.

Fullmetal Alchemists has great characters, and plenty of fight scenes. It has the best story. It can get HILARIOUS. but other times are sad, and some are heart pounding. It's got a lot of brotherly love.

It's about two brothers who get i an accident and one looses his body and the other loses an arm and leg. Togeather they try to find a gem called the philosiphers stone so they can restore their bodies. On their journey the older brother joins the military (the military people are funny and awesome) It's a great show!

ok. i am kinda new to anime to but one of the anime things that i think is good is.... NARUTO!!! I absolutely luv it!! It has characters that u will fall in love with. Like gaara, kakashi, and of course naruto. you will fall in love with the story too!
